At Chaafo, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which orders can be cancelled and what you can expect in terms of refunds or credits.

2. Order Cancellation by Customer

Free Cancellation (Full Refund Eligible)

You can cancel your order without any charges if:

  • Cancellation is made within 2 minutes of placing the order.
  • The restaurant has not yet accepted your order.
  • The restaurant is unable to fulfill your order due to unavailability of items.

Partial Refund / No Refund

  • If the restaurant has already accepted your order but not started preparation, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • If the restaurant has started preparing your order, cancellation will not be accepted and no refund will be issued.
  • If the delivery partner has already picked up your order, cancellation is not possible.

5. Order Cancellation by Restaurant

If a restaurant cancels your order due to:

  • Non-availability of ordered items
  • Temporary closure or operational issues
  • Capacity constraints

You will receive a full refund to your original payment method or Chaafo Wallet within 24-72 hours.

6. Order Cancellation by Chaafo

Chaafo reserves the right to cancel an order in the following situations:

  • Suspected fraudulent transaction or misuse of offers/coupons.
  • Incorrect pricing due to technical errors.
  • Non-availability of delivery partners in your area.
  • Natural calamities, strikes, or force majeure events.
  • Violation of Chaafo's Terms of Use.

In such cases, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method.

9. Repeated Cancellations

Chaafo monitors cancellation patterns. Customers with a high frequency of cancellations may face:

  • Temporary suspension of the cancellation feature.
  • Account review or restriction.
  • Ineligibility for certain offers or promotions.

10. Scheduled / Pre-Orders

For scheduled or pre-placed orders:

  • Cancellation is allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled delivery time.
  • Cancellations made after this window will not be eligible for a refund.
